The jumble of buildings you see here at the corner of Great Horton Road are none of them listed but have their own history. At the left is the road called Town End which was the limit at one time of the Township of Great Horton. It faced onto the Town End Primitive Methodist Chapel and Sellars Fold mentioned on page one. The stranger in the group is the tall building in the centre which began life as Great Horton Industrial Co-operative's Cannon Mills branch and the small building on the right was its cafe.
