Before we come to the mill that sustained the village for generation, we will take a little detour along Chapel Road to have a look at the Baptist chapel and see the George III. This row of C18 houses with their large corbels is still lived in but for the barber shop at the near end. I wonder
why the village seems to have missed out on the Bradford wide stone cleaning of the 1970's?
