| The triple bay portico with the spires and cupola [centre
left] is the entrance to Halifax's splendid Victorian Gothic market of 1896.
At the bottom of the street is another building of similar date, but the
other additions have been made since the hall itself was built to fill up
the entire block with shops and offices drawing customers and commerce into town. |
