The Tudor Rose
has been rebuilt and refurbished at the same time as retaining its interest. It
is a timber
framed building probably first placed on this same site in the
C15. The main door is original and the
appearance of the minor door and window
at the right hand end suggests those too are, if not original,
then in good
company. The "eyebrows" over the openings are probably C17 in style
and were designed
to shed rain water.
