 | Sorry about the intrusion of the road sign, but I wanted to show the whole structure of this really beautiful jettied gable. The building is an original C15 structure which had lapsed into a state of great dilapidation. It is to the great credit of the Borough Council that they rescued this treasure in 1982. Now in use as a public house it has to be appreciated from the inside in the public rooms as well as what we can see from here. |
