Welcome to Pilot Street.
Once the heart of the fishing quarter of Lynn, this remnant of the medieval town very nearly became victim
of the wholesale demolition in the brave new world of the 1950's. In every "progressive" council in the land
the bulk of our built heritage was under threat. Fortunately for Lynn the Kings Lynn Preservation Trust
bought six of these cottages in 1976 and renovated them.
