From Boal Quay to Friars Fleet

Kings Lynn rose to prosperity on its centuries old trade links with the ports of western Europe in Amsterdam,
Bremen, Lubeck, Hamburg, and the Baltic ports of Danzig [now Gdansk] Tallinn and Riga ~ then connected
these ports and their trade to Lynn's river routes to Ely, and as far as Bedford ~ before the railways.
