What a delight is this little building! So Dutch: so balanced; so symmetrical; so
pleasing in the whole and in its parts. Above the covered arcade designed to
prevent the sun from spoiling the goods brought here to be weighed, a pair of
identical kruiscozijn windows, between them a cartouche with Latin inscription [see next picture]. The roof has three trap gevels, is guarded
by seated lions and is topped by a chimney and two pinnacles.
