A huge barge seen in an earlier shot proceeds along the Neder Rijn
towards Arnhem with its TV tower showing in the distance. That, and
the heavily wooded slopes of the north bank of the river illustrates very
well why it was easy for the German 2 Panzer Regiment to block the
lightly armed Airborne from their target, some eight miles away.
