On our last day in Zutphen, and of Holland, we walked from our lodgings on De Warden
back into town along the dijk for the journey through Amsterdam to Europoort and the
ferry to Hull.

The awkward load aboard this barge would have created lots of trouble if it had been sent
by road. Now its speeds down the Ijssel to its destination creating a frothy bow wave.
