Just under the overhang of this fine wooden gable on Luttik Oudorp, you can see the cannonball reputed to be a souvenir of the siege of the city by the Spanish army in 1573 during what was a rebellion in the eyes of Philip II - but part of the Eighty Years War if looked at from patriotic Dutch history.
