This house called De Zijworm is owned by Vereniging Hendrick de Keyser and recorded in Huizen page 215 which tells us the gable was rebuilt in 1672 on what must be a much older wooden frame, houtskelet in Dutch, probably Gothic. It has a broken pediment topping the neck gable and claw pieces klaustukken filling the neck. A cartouche at the centre of the frieze carries the Alkmaar arms and it is dated 1672.
