At one time most major towns in the Seven Provinces minted their own coinage. This impressive building opposite the Westerkerk was Enkhuizen's Munt. The klawstukken or curlicues, and stone banding are influenced by Hendrick de Keyser. Yet another version of the fisher maid of Enkhuizen is here on the facade.
