Spotted on the way down from the station this large house, now a fashion shop, has kruiscozijn windows to its upper floors a fine frieze and, unusually, still has its out-thrust canopy.

Margreet de Brie writes: "This building is on Kruisstraat and is one of the few with
its luifel [canopy] intact. Another is on Gedempte Oude Gracht"
