Lit by a dipping Autumn sun these houses mostly look out onto
the Bierkade and Appelhaven where many houses have enviable
urban views, the canals being crossed by picturesque lift and
fixed bridges. The house on the extreme left is owned by
Vereniging Hendrick de Keyser and illustrated in 'Huizen in
Nederland - Friesland en Noord Holland' page 267 with plans
and elevations.
