"Dantzig" must have been where the house's merchant owner either
came from or had the most of his business with. The Bierkade is
named from its past use as the offloading point of - strangely enough
- beer, imported from Bremen and Hamburg. Again the building is very
workaday with its high trap gable, plain wall anchors and kruiskozijn
windows.
