Behind the Waag shrouded in its wrap-around scaffolding lies the huge and imposing Drie Haring building.

A skyscraper of its day its seven floors were the house and warehouse of Herbert Dapper who had the house built in 1575.

Herbert Dapper had connections to both Norway and Denmark in the height of his wide ranging trade.
