Seen in the background of the last shot, the two very different gables are fine examples of the diversity of buildings in the centre of Deventer.

On the left a neck gable with tall windows with tile decorations: above the ground floor centre is the insignia of the Spaarbank with decorated panels on either side, and circular medallions in the top gable.

The second gable is older and has bow shaped window tops too, but of an older kruiscozijn style while the stone infill of the top gable is reminiscent of seashells.
